If you’ve had electrical work carried out by another electrician — perhaps one who wasn’t registered, or who’s no longer around to finish the paperwork — I hold third-party certification and can independently inspect that work and sign it off, once I’m satisfied it meets the required safety standards.

This is useful if:

• The work was carried out by an unregistered or uninsured electrician
• Your electrician has since retired, moved away, or stopped trading
• You need certification for Building Control, a house sale, or insurance purposes
• You simply want a second, independent opinion on work already carried out
